If your parameters are stable and you feed it, it might come back. I had 2 very similar(maybe worst) acans and they just started to pop the heads out again.

My bet would be no, but you never know. If there's tissue visible - and even if there isn't - it's still possible it could pull through.

Wow really need to know a few things first. Please post your tank parameters. How long has the tank been up and running? Was the coral like this when you got it was it a slow progression to get to this point? What fish do you have in there?

I have not been able to revive acans once they get to that point.

I have an acan that was being stung by my hammer and did alot of damage. It reduced the head count by half. I moved the rock and feed it (Krill 1 per head, baby brine and mysis) 3 to 4 times a week for a few weeks and its recovering fine. Good Luck

I am sorry to tell you the acan may not survive,four of my acans act like that(tissue decaying) before they die.
