I left for a 2 week vacation and my family overfed the tank. When I returned, I noticed slimy hair algae. I'm starting to think it may be cyano. However with white lights, it looks brown and hairy like GHA. But in the evenings when the tank is running just blues, they have a deep red tint.
It doesn't disperse when I take a turkey baster to it. I scrub it off with a toothbrush and 2 days later it'd start to reappear again in the same areas. I already have plenty of flow in the tank and added more to see if it would help but negative. It's on rocks, frags, sand bed, and starting to take on corals.
