It kind of looks like the beggining stages of brook. Is he eating still or breathing fast?

He's brand new, so neither of them are really eating yet (I have 2, this is the only one with anything on him). I've seen him eat some tiny particles, but not when I was feeding the tank. He doesn't appear to be breathing fast.

Is he in a qt? Watch it for a day. If it’s brook, it moves fast. I would gather meds in case and be ready to treat.

Formalin
Acriflavine
Metroplex

They all treat brook but formalin and acriflavine being the go to for brook. If it starts to worsen and you don’t have meds, a freshwater dip will provide relief.

Hopefully it’s just lympho and stress related. It’s just hard to tell from the pic and being it’s only a few spots.

Ok thank you, I'll keep you updated. So if it's brook it should be spreading by tomorrow?

Usually it spreads pretty fast. If it’s brook, you should be able to tell by tomorrow.

+1 that doesn't look like lymph to me. Get formalin and start treatment. Search on here "brook treatment" or google it for detailed instructions on how to treat.
