is this normal behavior?

I have had my pearly jawfish in my dt since Saturday. Yesterday after sitting down for awhile he came out of his burrow and was acting normal..hovering around it stabbing for food and such. This morning when I woke up he was curled up in one corner of the tank. He is alive because when I saw him he swam to the other corner..is it normal that he did this? Has he maybe just not found his permanent home yet? Do they sleep outside their burrow at night?

I say give him time, he's just getting adjusted. Do you have a lot of rock work?

I do have about 50 lbs of rock and he has so far made burrows under 2 different rocks.
