Hello,

6 foot - FOWLR Tank
680 litre/180 gallon

I currently have:

Moorish Idol
Flagfin Angel
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
Coral Beauty
3 Anthias
Coral Banded Shrimp Pair

I would like to add:

2 Bangaii Cardinal
Marine Betta
Purple Tang
Blue Tang
Copperband Butterfly
Banana Wrasse (or some other wrasse)
2 Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp

Do you see any issues?

Thanks :) :celeb2:

What do you mean by "blue tang"? Do you mean Acanthurus leucosternon (powder blue) or Paracanthurus hepatus (blue palette)?

blue tang is Dory from finding nemo and powder blue tang is well a powder blue tang.

I don't see any issues, you could actually add a tang or two more imo

Careful with the wrasses, you can run into some compatibility issues. Research before you buy them.

Sounds like a nice list.

Hello, yes I mean the Paracanthurus hepatus. They're known commonly as Blue Tang here in Australia, but I see most people refer to it as Hippo Tang on these forums...

Thanks for the comments... !!

If anyone else has some thoughts, let me know :)

I don't think it's to many fish. I've never owned a marine betta but I was always of the impression they'll eat ornamental shrimp. That'd be my only worry.

You'll also want to add the CBB sooner than later in that progression. The more peaceful the tank the more likely it'll take to feeding. Be better to get it in before you add that purple tang in particular.

Marine bettas are awesome!! I've had a few over the years with absolutely no problems.. I had a huge one in my previous 180.. they are one of my favorite fish when i find one Im adding it to my 90..
