FWIW the UV unit you posted has 600t/h capacity which is about 155,000gph of seawater.

That might kill a whale if it passed through it but it wouldn't irradicte ichf rom a reef tank. I might get one to use on my ten gallon qt tank though.
Just for perspective 155,000 gph of seawatr is about double the water exchange per cubic meter of space on the Great Barrier reef.
