Your tank is looking great as usual. Your blog said that you are looking for some moonlights - I dont have a particular brand to suggest but as far as color is concerned, white is the way to go. It really gives the moon effect and looks more natural.

Go with the PFO 1 watt extremes. The brightest Moonlight I have seen. And you cant beat the quality of them either.

just so this doesn't turn into some strange discussion of how fish and corals spawn based on the timing and intensity of the moonlight, all of this is BS. I have a Neptune ACIII Pro that will simulate water temp., sun and moon cycles, etc. but really all that amounts to is geeky crap that has no bearing on spawning.

The only real reason to have moonlights over your tank is so that you can enjoy the reef "nightlife". While the cool factor is very high in that I can simulate the light and temp. cycles of the Marshall Islands, spawning has so much more to do wth other environmental elements.

Another good time to have some kind of "night light" for the kids is in an interior room (or any room that is black at night). It doesn't even have to be an LED but if I can't see, the fish can't either and I think that contributes to many "sleep walking" incidents by our finned friends.

moonlights don't need to be bright.

They are night bright in the terms you thinking of. They acutally cast a nice glow. The cheap regular LED ones you see on the market hardly make a dent and you need to buy a few of them. Before you know it the total equals to the same of the PFO or Icecap version.

Im not sure if you guys saw my BLOG, but I did add a night light to my tank from Ikea. Worked out great.

Other than that, a new roommate is in town. A Venustus Angel. The Bellus really dislikes him right now. Hopefully they will be friends soon.

how many angels are in the display now Ed? the color are really nice and how many more angels do you plan on getting? keep them coming

Dudester, thank you.

melev, you figured it out. :) Actually, the flash has a lot to do with it.

cbui, not much at all after those incidents.. 2? I wouldnt mind getting the Skribble again. Im only looking out for beautiful colored fish just like I am with my corals. It all depends on the sizes of the fish on how many I will keep. I dont have a limit right now.

Thanks everyone else!
