isopod? ID needed

So a few of these things have suddenly shown themselves in our tank
isopods?

There are at least two, probably more. These are isopods, I'd guess? do these look like benign? My wife's pretty freaked out :hmm4:

(Known) tank occupants:
1 tail spot blenny
2 x scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp
4 x peppermint shrimp
2 x porcelain crabs
2 x emerald crabs
assorted hermits and snails

I have 3 small pajama cardinals sitting in QT now.

actually, I think it was an amphipod. though the clip was short. they're okay, they eat scraps and detritus.

As others said, these are amphipods. Good bugs.

The first time my gf saw an amphipod in our tank she demanded that I kill them as she didn't want "bugs" in our aquarium, I then said they are kind of like "baby shrimp" and she was okay with that
No amount of word-play can convince her that the bristleworms are okay though
