I have only had this new one for a few days now. The problem started with the controller turning off randomly. I thought maybe i had the plug in an auto outlet but it wasn't. Now the controller is flashing red green. The old error code was for a stall. I've checked both the dry and wet side and everything seems fine. When I unplug and replug in it starts off on the flow setting then immediately goes to red greed flashing. Any ideas?

That is very unusual. I would recommend removing the wetside from the aquarium and trying to run the pump again without the wetside attached. If the unit operates normally, try re-measuring your aquariums wall thickness. From there, use the correct spacer and disassemble the wetside checking for any damage or obstructions. If you continue to have issues at that point, please contact us directly.

Just purchased 2 mp40 QD, I'm not sure how to get it into NTM. It will start Pulsing, but it never goes into the 2nd mode. It also states I should have three mp40 for this mode. Won't two work ok. How long does it take to switch from mode one into mode two in NTM ?
Also not sure how to put it into night mode. I pressed mode and set together twice, but it doesn't change the power. It should go in into 50% power..right ?
