Some of these tanks look so overpacked with SPS corals. I wonder how they deal with detritus and flow. Even with the best pumps and wavemakers, I would be concerned with the most densely packed ones that algal growth and or tissue death would start occurring.

It has nothing to do with abilities I think. It is a problem that will occur in every tank within years when colonies get bigger and bigger.

I'm also curious how they handle this problem with detritus and flow.

well that's not saying much about your reefkeeping abilities than:)

I've had a few here and there over the years. I make christmas ornaments out of them :D For the record I don't have any right now other than 1 I tried to save from a guy that was pretty pale and ran zeovit. I don't run zeo and I think possibly the stress from going from that to mine put the final nail in the coffin. Bummer..

A lot of people seem to like my tank but these tanks are what I'm talking about! They are truly TOTM material! That is some beatiful stuff there.

WOW looking at tanks like this makes me realize how much my tank sucks :D I'm tired of these little sheit frags!!!

I couldn't agree more... Even though these tanks are inspirational it makes me feel kinda bummed when I look at mine... I just look at pictures of my tank from 6mos ago to see how much its actually came. Maybe in another 2years I will have something decent to look at
