Great job drilling the holes. I remember when I drilled my first hole. I had it done and finished until it was time to remove the glass bit and CRACK. That's was because I got to happy and impatient.

Keep up the great work.

Nice job Corey! Good think the glass didn't crack....all that baffle work would have gone to waste if it did crack.

Nice job on drilling the tank. I wish I drilled my tank as I was afraid to break it until a friend of mine had me drill a few of his tanks. Really easy when you go slow.

How thick are the acrylic baffles? I have seen others use thin acrylic and they flex and eventually give way causing flooding. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

1/4 inch plexi. My thought was there will be equal pressure on both sides of the baffles so I hope they hold up. Is 1/4 inch too thin really. If so I need to change that before it gets plumbed

Ok. Thanks for that info. I didn't know, wish I did before I got this stuff. Is it necessary to replace these?

Corey

Use what you have and see if there are any problems. If there's no pressure on the plastic you may be okay. I know this stuff gets expensive real fast but you have to experiment to see what this stuff will do.

Right. There is a place by me that sells scrap acrylic but hey didn't have any near my size. I'm hopping that equal water pressure on big sides will work....we will see tho!

Quick question, I hate plumbing a tank. It's a major pain and I have mine mocked up now but one thing I noticed is that one drain has a slight dip in it,

See it......
Will this cause a big drop in he performance?

That aqua-scape is really really nice! You should take allot of pride in that. It almost looks like a fake living colors reef insert because it's done so well.
