its hip to be square....

Little bit. It's only 20 more gallons than my last tank just a better footprint. I'm actually peeking around for a dehumidifier but since I don't have a basement I will need one that I drain manually. Not one I can plumb to a floor drain or something. I'm actually open to suggestions tho. My windows do get a lot of condensation on them sometimes

Got the sump online and flowing. That pump is a ton of water. I've only got 1MP40 going now and the pump turned way back and it's blowing sand everywhere. Gonna dial it in throughout the day. Got carbon running now to clear the water up and the skimmer is about to be on next

Skimmer is going strong! Here it is warming up or actually it is me trying to fine tune the water level in it

Oh of course it is!!! They have it in a plastic tank in their tank. I haven't seen one hat big before. I know they get big but I hadn't seen it. It was very cool tho!

Corey

I'd keep it in my 'fuge until the day I go to grab some chaeto and forget about it and get a nice surprise haha

Hey Cory, got through your thread today. I thought it must be awesome from what I had seen you posting in other threads. Congrats, it looks great! When you have been running for a while I have some equipment questions for you!

How much carbon is recommended to be ran in the reactor and what type of flow. Right now I have about 100gph or so going through it. Looks good to me, hardly any movement from carbon in reactor. Tank is clearing up but was also very "dirty") when the carbon went online

Corey

BRS has a great calculator for how much carbon and I am pretty sure you want the flow to make the gac tumble.

How much flow can go through 1/2in tubing. I'm trying to tune my carbon reactor off my manifold and was told about 100gph is what I want going through it. Input??

Corey

Feeding time for the tangs. I usually keep nori in the tank for them but last few days I've been slippin'. Now I know how much they love it
