I bleach to get rock white,, I read to do it so I did..
I only used baking soda to reduce the acid strength if you want to remove after 1hr after adding
I did this and I also let sit in bin for 24hrs and just poured it out..
It's official. I'm finally upgrading.

Yea. Tank is cycled.
Starting to get a bunch of algae. Getting clean up crew today.
Going to do transfer next week. Really scared about transfer. Don't want to lose anything. And I don't want to stress my three fishes. Especially my clowns. My wife said I'm out with the tank if something happens to them. Lol

Started skimmer a week ago. It's been going nuts. So I read up on the break in period. Also read that putty makes it go crazy. So I ran carbon in reactor. Woke up yesterday and skimmer is running better. Still releasing a lot of micro bubbles but I read that it may be due to the break in period.

Yea, that break in period is annoying, but feels great afterwards!
Usually when I dose or do something to the tank that I know will disrupt it, I turn it off.
For example, I glued a bunch of frags and dosed a bunch of bacterial additives.
Since my skimmer is wicked sensitive, I'm turning it off for the night.
Sorry about the CUC. I hope it comes tomorrow!

So finally did the full transfer! Everything went smoothly
Rbta stayed on same rock. And clowns are doing well.
I also got a blonde naso last week who has been settling in nicely. First few days he was super shy. But now he is out and about now. He was barely eating and didn't go for seaweed. He would eat a few mysis. But today he went for the seaweed on the clip!!
What I am most happy is about my clowns being nice. They are so vicious towards other fish that I placed in nano and to my arm! Lol
But the naso swims right in front of him and he just stares him down. Lol
