Well, a new job opportunity was offered to me recently that I couldn't pass up career wise. Basically gonna get a 25% increase in compensation and a Senior Engineer title all while doing the same functions I have at my current company so it was a no brainer. Still, it sad to leave behind all the wonderfull people I've met and the great memories that were created. I thank everyone I've met in the Tampa Bay Reef Club community, I've learned a lot from everyone and created Reef Buddies that I'll hope we continue to swap corals :D. This isn't a good bye as I hope to move back to the Tampa area in the future, this is more of a see you guys later :).

Start date at my new company is Aug 4th or 11th, all dependent on the official moving date. Not moving the fish tank just yet, gonna set up a new system in Pheonix. Once new tanks is fully cycled a month or two later I'll drive all my corals and fish from Tampa to Pheonix in tubs each with an aerater and heaters. I just can't leave all my fish buddy's behind :) and don't plan on breaking down and selling everything. Anyway, I hope all goes well with the move and tank transfer. I also hope that the Tampa Bay Reef Club community continous to flourish.

Nooooooo I haven't gotten to buy any corals from the famous Pedro yet....maybe before you move I'll finally make the push to order some stuff from you...congrats on the new job btw

Congrats on the new job, sad to see you go but we understand completely. Wish I had a chance to see your tank I have heard so much about it.

Congrats Pedro!! Is it Honeywell? You will like Pheonix (I have a lot of friends that worked out there and xferred here), not sure what the Reefers Landscape is.

I just set up a 34 cube for softies only. I must get a few frags from you soon!

Thanks Janes_mw, the company is Polymicro a fiber optic manufacturer. Apperently the reefing community is very strong especially with california being very close. I should now have access to super cool zoa's :) can't wait.

Congrats Pedro!

Thanks KC

Dang man congrats! It's a bummer to see you go but definitely happy for you and your family.

Thanks CrazyEyes

Congrats,

Tampa will miss you and your garden of zoas :-).

Regards,
z

Lol, thanks bigZ, I've spread my love so hopefully they will grow and then make it into frags for others to enjoy.

Congrats, Pedro! We're going to miss you, though. Good luck with the move when the time comes!

Thanks SaltwaterNoob :)

Oh man that's dangerous for you then haha

Hahahaha, yes very dangerous

U will be missed Pedro :(. Happy for your future. U will have more cash to upgrade now :)

Thanks Roger, Initially it'll be a debt but when I get my reimbursal check for incidentals then it'll be like winning a scratchie lotto ticket lol, 180g-300g tank here I come, can't wait.

congrats, best of luck w your future plans, maybe a all zoa tank??????????

Thanks bmullikin, I don't think I can do an all zoa tank but I am considering having a huge mixed reef display, Frag tank, Anemone and Rock flower tank all plumbed in together. I may be able to squeeze a seahorse tank in there in a seperate system but hatching baby brine on a daily basis kinda sucks on travel plans :/.
