Some of you MAYYYYYY remember me from the oxford / Anniston area working for VTF and OCEA. Im just trying to reach out to anyone who is STILL in the hobby in the central alabama area. I live in Inverness now and am setting myself back up. Mainly keeping SPS and LPS corals again guys.

Any old friends or acquaintances of mine who are still on this board, please say hey! Any info (stores, clubs, fragswaps) that exist now would be great... 5 years being out of the hobby is a long time I see!

No I actually haven't ever heard of it. I work nights now and its very difficult to get out and check where things are.

Oh Shawn, there is a lovely One Spot Foxface at the Hoover Petco that has been there 6 months and still doing well. The guy said he'd sell it for $35 because it has been there so long.

I'd have taken it but I don't want anything venomous as I put my hands in my tank often.

Spread the word if you know of anyone looking.

Yes, I frequent the shop, and I like it. They are actually open until 7:00 on weeknights, which is really nice. I'm new to corals though, so I can't really comment on whether there are high-end corals. I can tell you that there are a variety of sizes to choose from, not just all tiny frags.

Hey Shawn,
You may remember me I picked up your tank and livestock from you when you were on your way out a couple of years ago. As far as stores there are only two I would recommend in Birmingham. Reef revolutions is Mark's new store. He carries a lot of nice stuff at good prices. Then there is always aquarium imports in Hoover (you probably remember this one), they always have a healthy selection of fish and inverts, but not so great on coral.
