That's what I'm worried about. It's like I don't want to dip for 3 hours for the rest of my life. HAHA I would just quit the hobby if that's the case.

Thanks! I'm not going to give in so quickly. I'm going to battle it for a while before considering quitting.

why quit they are plenty of nice lps and softy tank. Sometime I think SPS are over rated. I like the way Iconic reef set up their lps tank with kessel.

I wish this wouldn't actually bump the post, but oh well...

I had AEFW in my previous system and it was a struggle, lots of work, and admit was devastating. A move required me to take down the tank, and never put it back up. So, now I am in the midst of setting up a whole new setup now - after 6 years out of the hobby. Posts like this make me think twice of going back to the the SPS-dominated route.... Going to try and ignore this entire post completely.

Just finished my last dip last night and everything looks good. I'm going the extra mile and going to dip again on Tuesday or Wednesday to truly finish off the dipping and if any old school reefer wants to come by and help me see if there are any more signs of their existence is greatly appreciated. man.. I better start using Bayer on SPS.

after you successfully beat this, what will you change about your new SPS QT procedure?

I use the following for mine.. just added Bayer to the list.

LPS: Lugol
Zoa: Lugol + Flat Worm Exit
SPS: Lugol + Bayer

So I think I'm officially done dipping. My last dip was Saturday and as a precautionary measure I dipped again tonight just incase there were any stragglers. Now I just need one of the OG'd of reefing to drop by to check it out.
