I've not seen this acro before, any ideas?

I picked this oz beauty up today, I've never seen one before. In water it looks blue btw and I'm sure that colour will change.

I guess it's a deepwater, I have seen similar colonies diving in fiji at between 25-30m

Any ideas on care?



 
Are you sure its an acropora? Is it one of the porites species?

Can you take a picture underwater in only white lights?
 
I'm fairly sure it's an acro, it's got sparse polyps like a deepwater.

I'll try and do a pic but I am the worst photographer ever :spin1:
 
lol, your hand is also blue under water. That is one strange specimen you got there, I have also never seen anything like that. I will say its stony, and looks to be small polyp. As far as id, well I gonna have to look a bit more.
 
Ok, so i get some images like the below when searching for acropora sp. deep water. That is very cool if you ask me.
