Jackson's 115 Gallon Custom Cube 32x32x26

I saw that tenuis acro frag on an auction site a few days ago and was watching diligently :) I was very tempted to bite, but am hoping another will be available by the time my new tank is setup.

Also, do you have a 6" round coral viewer? I have one but the new iPhone 6 will not fit flat on the bottom... It fits in there on a slight angle. Curious to know if that's how you are doing it?

If there is a legit waiting list on the rainbow tenius put me on it man, I know you probably don't know me so I probably will be near the back of the line because as of recent I've only lurked this section of RC, i'm mainly in Anemone & Clownfish :). But I plan on posting my tank thread here soon so I hope you check it out. I'm trying to get everything in order so you guys don't criticize me too bad :D.

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
Deal buddy,won't lose you for a coral:love2:
Your too nice buddy. Let me acros grow for another 6 months, but then I'll be sure that my tank is free of AEFW's...then you can come to London and take your pick of acros from my tank. Have some cool bits once again.

Beautiful ! :inlove:
Let me know when mine is ready :D

Man...you are so lucky to be able to get a frag of that! Arrrggghhh I need to move to the states! :mad2:

Yeah Yeah Yeah !!!! Beavis you sure do know how too color corals and have one incredible wrasse collection. Your aquarium stores and sps buddies sure are lucky to have you in town. Great reef system !!

Yep, I put a piece on ebay, but I never had any intention of selling it (high reserve). Just curious what interest it would get. When I upgraded to the iPhone 6, I had to upgrade to a larger coral viewer as well :). The 6" viewer doesn't really fit this phone.

There is, but the interest has been overwhelming. I'm getting frags to guys waiting a year right now. I will mark you down, but by the time I get to you, other will likely have frags of it for sale. I never realized how one little frag can spread to the entire hobby until now :) I have approximately 15 frags out, and will have another 15 more sent before the winter is over. These are not booger frags either ;)

I want a frag of that wrasse
Sure, I'll get you a fillet:eek:

Are you using a water proof camera?

Nope, Iphone 6 in a large top down viewer. Shut down the flow and focus on the coral. The image comes out very clear.

Sahin, is reef keeping popular by you?

Thanks reeflover. My sps buddies make this hobby easier, especially when I have acros problems :) Not too many problems with this tank though, but my last tank kind of sucked:lol2:

Thettle down, Beavis!
:spin1:

I'll take you up on that and if I find one before then I will make sure to let you know.

I've been trying to take that frag of my screen but i can't:(
Think i must print that pic and put it on the glass of my tank:p

How are the new lights?

Richard chickened out last minute and didnt buy a T5 fixture as far as I know. Seriously though, I'd have a VERY difficult time switching away from a 400w halide SPS colouruperiser.

Great googily moogily I just read the entire thread! And of course.. you all have made my decision for my light upgrade much bloody harder. I currently have a Tek Elite 6X39w T5 set up over my 100G Half Cylinder.. and I am left with three choices:

Friends of mine are trying to convince me to go with 3 X Kessil 360WE's

or

BRS 8 X 39w retrofit (From what I am told it's the same parts used by ATI... if I consider this option seriously I would, of course, investigate that)

or

ATI Sunpower 8 X 39w (non-dimmable, I am shying away from T5 dimming as an electrician has told me its hard on the bulbs).

I am, now, more severely thinking about going with the ATI fixture. That, or go with the BRS retro and make a matching canopy with hydraulics... it's late, I need to stop thinking.

Go ATI, you won't regret it. Just run at 100%:)

Yea, I chickened out. I really don't want to get rid of the halide, I just wanted better coverage from T5. My next move is to rewired the t5's in my sfiligoi fixture with an IC 660 ballast. I'm hoping the increased output will make a noticeable difference. I have been running a 400w Aquaconnect for the last couple of weeks. This bulb has a nice spectrum, and I am seeing a boost in growth from a couple of slower growing pieces.

Yup, ATI makes it easier, and you know it's going to work well. I like the look of adding blue reefbrites as well :)

The Aquaconnect is a monster, I got great coloration and crazy growth with it. I used it for years, I really only switched because it seemed as if the lamp was difficult to keep in stock and sometimes I ended up paying as high as $130 a bulb! It seems to be better priced now.

Good to know Joe. I've been pretty one dimensional with the radiums, but I like the change so far.

I finally rewired the sfiligoi fixture with an ice cap 660 to replace the ballasts that were in there. I can't believe the difference. The output is easily double from the t5. I no longer feel that I need more T5's lol :) With the 4 overdriven blue+, 400w aqua connect, and 2 blue led reefbrites, the tank is super bright and completely covered. The spectrum is awesome.

I took a few pics with the iPhone but they all came out poor except for this one. This is a good representation of the brightness and spectrum with this bulb combo.
