Jackson's 115 Gallon Custom Cube 32x32x26

Cool photo of the harlequins. I'm guessing that is the leg of a brittle star, not a worm (I could be wrong). Do they eat brittles too? I'd love to get some of these, but they basically need to be fed stars after a while, don't they?

LOL that's a leg of a serpent starfish :). The harlequins only eat slower moving sand sifter type stars. Actually, the serpent start was trying to grab them with his leg :/

So...how's that rainbow tenuis ? :D

I Hope I'm still on the waiting list ... I know you have that horrible problem with the corals growing and you running into shade problems ..just trying to help :)

that light is epic!

It was, but it was butt ugly to look at with no canopy :p

Doing great! Color and growth has been very good.

Yup, I got you covered :) I actually wrecked the left side of this tank yesterday. I had to remove some "fluffer"colonies to make more room for better pieces to grow. I killed the symmetry of the aquascape, but I think it will be better long term.

Awesome light, TOTM here!

Thanks Tom. After what I just did to this tank, it's a long way away from TOTM status :lolspin:
:D:D

It won't be long before symmetry comes back in there rich:)
I bet one rainbow tenuis frag if you don't believe me:p
....That's a much better excuse than arlin's and can make me go up in that waiting list:lolspin:

If you being overseas can get in line for this coral, then step aside buddy...I've known Richard for many years...I'm sure that counts and will move me up towards top of the list. :uzi: :D

Sahin you're way up on the list. Your frag is ready. Just waiting for the $1200 payment for overnight shipping :D

Mike you're overseas also? Sahin can ship to you ;) LOL

With the new scape That colony is actually lower under the halide, but centered. Curious to see how it keeps color with a little less par. It's still getting 500 par though. I'll post pics of the scape when I feel better about it. Right now it looks like a mess I think.

The new skimmer looks great Rich. I still run a dual Beckett on my tank :spin1:

I just switched to Acropower too. I had been using Salifert AA for years but so many people have had good luck with the TLF brand I decided to try it out, and I can get it local.

I was laughing looking at the picture of the T5s added to the giesemann, that is crazy looking. What are the two yellow bulbs in the giesemann?

Tanks is looking awesome though!

Oooh ooohh pick me! :wavehand:
I can pick up within half hr :) no shipping required lol
I saw ValorG's frag and It looked amazing :)

Why do I feel like I'm stalking you for your corals lol.

Thanks Joe. Your beckett skimmer is probably still more powerful than these newer styles but in a system my size I needed less pump heat + better efficiency, because I am a pig with lighting :D. Those 2 bulbs are coral+. I just had them in there temporarily while I was checking out the added t5's. They're a good daylight bulb IMO.
The acropower is good stuff IMO. It's inexpensive and does what it supposed to do. Like any amino that I tried, you'll get a little cyano if you overdue it

LOL no worries, stalk all you want. Soon you'll have a piece if that tenuis. ValorG's arco is awesome. The polys are very pink, hoping to get a dark blue on the body with my nutrient level. Good thing about his coral is that it maintains this color in medium light. It's only been a couple weeks but here it is now.

Will be waiting for those pics, when you are ready!

Here's a new wrasse that I picked up the other day. Male Pink Margin. I completely overlooked this wrasse. Inexpensive and as colorful as all the expensive ones ;)

Why is it everyone's drop cam pics look better than mine? For me colors are washed out and detail is crap. I bought what was labeled as the PRO version.

I can't see flickr photos here at work but I can click on your name and look at the photo stream, which is where I see the dropcam photo. :) I forgot how good looking your furniture is.

That's so cool man.

Thanks

Beautiful ! :inlove:

Let me know when mine is ready :D

Will do. Just coloring up some frags. Should be soon.

Funny you mention that, I am headed to Best Buy to return that piece-O-crap. The image quality is horrible. The tank only comes out somewhat clear if I mount the camera 2 ft from the tank. At 5 ft distance for an overall view, it's useless to see detail. I have to find something better.

Well, good and bad. Sorry you have to return it, but glad I'm not the only one. I have mine mounted 6 feet away from my 6 foot wide tank and it's complete garbage.
