January Meeting Information

The next Rockford Reefers meeting will be held at my house in Cortland,IL. It will be held on Saturday January 30th at 1pm. Gary Parr will joining us and will be giving a photography presentation. He is well known in the area for his macro coral shots. Bring your camera if you like and learn tips on how to make your tank photos look better.

I will also give a short presentation on my new 240 gallon reef tank. If that is not enough, Rod from Rod's Food donated packs of his food that we will be giving away.

I believe I had paid for premium membership last year....is there going to be two levels again this year? Thanks

At this point we have suspended any club dues. The main reason for this is we are working on restructuring the club and did not want to collect any money until this is complete. At this point I do not see us collecting dues in 2010. There are still two levels of membership. The most important difference between the two is: in order to maintain voting privileges use must attend 4 meetings in any 12 month period.

I would love to see the notes from the meeting. But I have been informed that Reef Clubs and meetings are not the center of the universe and I need to take care of some things at home beyond my tank. It appears in my home there is no interest in a second opinion at this time. So I will preserve my marriage and miss this meeting. Hope all goes well.
