Jawfish...need help!

I asked this on the Reef Forum too. I got a Jawfish today and he (of course) chose to make a burrow under the biggest rock structure. Now it is starting to shift. I put down plenty of smaller flat rocks for him. What do i do? I hate to fill in his burrow, but the rocks are going to fall. Even if i unstack the rocks, the burrow is under the biggest one and it will shift also. The burrow is already halfway under the rock.

That's one of the difficulties of jawfish and other diggers. He may now abandon it as unstable. Safeguard your corals, let him pick his spot, which he will do because of flow, and try to figure out how to let him have his spot and rebuild your reef. The benefit is that after he has settled, he will probably keep his burrow, but he may wreak havoc while he is creating it.

He's such an awesome little fish.... i just hope he doesn't make the rocks tumble in on him. I did a little rearranging to try to steady it. It didn't seem to bother him too much....he just kept digging.
