Jawfish with bent fin

Good evening Reefers,

Yesterday I bought a jawfish yesterday at the LFS, I thought that I had one without any seriously damaged fins. (Only saw some slight damage at his dorsal fin, but very very minor. (barely noticeable)

Today it came out of hiding and I noticed that one of his two frontal fins (not sure what they are called) is bend in a 90 degree angle. Is that something to worry about or will it eventually correct itself? I'm kinda in love with the fish already, the way that it looks around and interacts is just hilarious.

I'm sure he will be fine. He just throwing your the finger. lol

I hope he will, I'm probably too worried and fixating about it.

If he could give me the finger, then he's probably going to keep it up for a little while longer. He started making a burrow next to the glass, but it collapsed from the small wave of my mag cleaner.:hmm4:

I forgot to ask, but do you mean that he won't feel any pain from the bent or that it will straighten out sooner or later?

well since I am not a fish I don't know if it hurts or if it will straighten. I said he will be fine meaning as long as he is eating and seems to be happy he is fine.

Don't worry too much. I had a bangaii cardinal one time that lost his eye. he is a great fish. It is what it is. lol.
