Two questions now: where is the UV you have between your QT and your main system? And how much total water volume do you estimate in your system?

Hi,the UV is on the last tank on the right side,90 % of the water that goes out off that tank passes it before it comes back into the system.

Total volume is around 4500 liters.

Hi thanks,it's only t5 indeed,the most are aquamedic and ATI t5,also the most of them have been burning in the maintank,when they are 6 months old i remove them and they got a second live in the basement tanks,save's me money and they are still powerfull enough for these tanks.
There are only 2 blue bulbs in the basement on 32 tubes in total,whit the white ones you also can get good color's.

The bulb i change every six months,the brand is aquaconnect i believe.

Thanks,the second one did't make it in the end,a week or two ago he died,i don't now if i am going too ad another one,the one that swims in the tank is doing really great and is nice too the corals

I added 2 Moorish idols a couple of weeks ago.
They were fine together in QT, but 2 days after I put them in the big tank, one was constantly hiding near the back weir. It stayed there for 2 days and I was hand feeding it... Until it went back into the tank and was instantly chased by the other Moorish!.

That was a complete surprise. Anyway, I now have one ithe tank and one back in QT.

Any ideas on how to reintroduce the second, or should I forget it?
Both are feeding frozen/ pellets and flake, so I wat to try and get them back together.

Hi Mo,
i would catch the one in the maintank and put him somewhere,and leave him there for a few days,then place the two guys at the same time into the tank .

Since a good year i always place new fish in the evening into the tank,then i let a blue light burning the whole night,the normal fish go sleeping an the new ones can discover their new home in comfort,this works very good for me.

The idol here loves the cubes from Ocean nutrition,angel and dwarf angelfood.

When i feed these they always are taking whit the flow too the same place and he and the angels are waiting there.
