Looking good, Luc!.

What are you doing for phosphate export?. GFO?. Vinegar?.
If so, how much and how often do you change?.

How many cubes do you feed daily?

Thanks
Mo

Nice pics Luc - the corals are certainly quite happy. The new lighting is working out well, apparently! I love the sense of accomplishment we get when we tear things down and re-work it until it is just right for our eyes! We certainly can relate to how much work it is for you - and your careful attention to detail is paying off as usual. We want to come visit...perhaps in the spring of 2013?

Hi Mo,thanks:)

For phosfte export i only use around 2 kilo rowaphos that runs very slow this moment because i can't measure phosftes at this time,i don't think i gonna replace it if it stays so low.

Feeding is around 3 a 4 times a day, frozen food around 20 cubes and some pellets and flakes.

Thanks Luc,

How long does 2 kilo usually last you, or is that the first lot since adding your livestock?.

Do you feed 20 cubes per day or like David Saxby per feeding?. :spin2: :lol2:

What is your clean up crew at the moment?.

I love those Anampses. On my list too, but most struggle to survive that come over here, so I haven't tried yet...

Mo

Hi Luc,

Lovely new anampses, I hope they settle in well, good luck with them.

I'm also interested to hear how you plan to manage phosphate if you're not intending on using phosphate remover, I thought you dosed vinegar?

Tony

Nice what will be you quarantine procedure
I tried 3 non maid it
But all of them looked pinched behind the head

Yours looks much better

Thanks
That is a beautiful fish.

Hi,no ,i had only one for a long time,my intention is to ad some more before they go into the tank upstairs, first see if i can find some more:p
Stunning

I remember you having two previously. Did one ever change into a male?

Hi Mo,this is till the first lot since i rebuilded the tank, mayby i try allready too drive the system whitout the rowa,it depend's on how fast the corals are growing,as you now i did not used it the last years ,the frag tanks are good in maintaining water quality.
The anampses are not easy and therefore you must prepare everything before you buy them,i have at the moment 3 different ive foods for them.
Cleaning crew are only around 20 sea urchins and 25 big snails,i still have some algea on some rocks.

Hi Tony, they do very well and they allready start too eat frozen foods so i am happy.
In the past po4 never been an issue here, the frag tanks and mayby the wodka absorbed it,vinegar i more used too get some longer polips out off the corals, the alcohol inside it was a plus offcourse, mayby it comes back in time but the tank is too young at the moment.
