I'm running 2 250 phoenix 14k, when you say you like reef crest at mid day you change yours?

No, I just had a 10k MH over my last tank (no supplemental lights) and it looked about the same color temp as your photo.

As for "reef crest," I'm just assuming that that is what shallow water mid-day light looks like on a reef, although I've never dived! (I have been to the beach, though!)

Great tank...so hard to restart after a crash. 10 years ago, my aunt took care of my reef while I was on vacation. She decided the skimmer was too loud and the the fish looked hungry. Needless to say, my tank crashed and everything was lost.

I just didnt have the heart to restock it. I'm happy you did!

I'm running 14k phoenix bulbs and thinking of radiums, What are the benefits of radiums??
I like the way they look and if i do switch do i have to run my T5's??

Nice recovery! Sweet system! I guess with a built in tank, its a lot harder to throw in the towel after a crash. There'd always be that hole in the wall just staring at you...whispering "rebuild me" LOL

LOL thats a good one i was thinking of placing a 55 inch lcd over it but instead i keep the tank and bought the tv for upstairs lol...

Pretty much almost started from scratch lol sucks right..

I'm thinking of moving some corals around and i was going placing the GSP on the sand bed is that a good idea right now it's in the upper right hand side where i can put my green bird nest.
