Well, I purchased this unit and while its okay I don't think its thought out.
#1. out of the box there is no audible when pump on.
#2.No snail guard on floats.
#3. I wanted 2 floats in sump, one to start and stop fill and the other as back up in case first one fails. Doesn't have this MODE !
It has one on,other off so no second fail safe.

I had a AUTOTOPOFF.COM unit which did have the MODE most use.
whats your thoughts?

Take it back and buy the Tunze Osmolator, its well worth the additional $. Setup was simple and it works great

I used it on my 90g for a pretty long time. I had one switch in my return chamber (no animals in there) and the other switch in my ATO reservoir. It worked wonderfully. It's one of the things I kept so I can reuse on my 50g.

The unit is designed to shut everything off it has been running for longer than three minutes. This will prevent flooding in case of sensor malfunction. It is safe. Just don't be a dummy and attach a powerful top off pump to it.

I don't like them.

I have been using the autotopoff.com stuff for years. The Tunze one has a lot of happy users as well.

If it didn't meet your needs for an ATO why did you buy it?
