Jebao to apex adapter

I have one but never hooked it up because I wasn't sure what cable I could use to hook up to the v1/v2 port. I didn't want to destroy my apex plugging in an Ethernet cable that wasn't hooked up properly.

Same here, bought one last week but never connected it. Did some light digging on the net to see if anyone has some cool profiles or schedules already coded out for the apex but didn't find anything cut and past-able yet. I didn't realize they would only work at 50% power....I have 2 wp25's in the back lower corners of my tank to help with some dead spots behind my rock work, so maybe half the power won't be too bad considering these things are pretty strong to begin with

I have a Apex splitter (Waveline Pump to Apex Control Cable - Waveline) that allows me to take the apex variable speed port and use it on 2 things. One is my waveline DC pump. I want to run another DC pump (Jabeo) so I got this connector. I am trying to use 1 end of this cable to control this - and I am not having luck. Is this possible?

Thanks!

These work great. They work with WP and RW powerheads. They work with DC pumps only.

This does not work with the DCT or DCS pumps or Gyres.

You can run two pumps at full power you just need the right sized power supply.

EXAMPLE
RW-15 needs a 2.5 AMP 24Volt power supply. If you want to run two RW-15's off the Apex controller you need a 5 Amo OR LARGER amperage power supply. If you do not probvide a power supply that can provide enough amperage it will slowly KILL or fry the DC motors. Bigger is fine but not smaller. Just add the amperage of the two pumps you plan to use. That is the size power supply you need.

I have these to connect my Jebao pumps to the Apex. I use them in a wave mode with two profiles (low and high flow) that alternate every 30 minutes.
It works pretty well. To run two pumps it is probably best to a stronger power supply instead of those coming with the pumps.

i used the reef angel connected to a spliced ethernet cord and it worked great, use the fusion interface for ramping up and down for the random flow effect
