I purchased this for use in a 20 long. Given the reviews so far I am sure it is way too strong lol. Does anyone who has played around with it have a feeling if using 12v instead of 24v would slow it down sufficiently for use in a nano?

Yes it should be fine.

You may want to look into something adjustable like 5V-24V LED Light Dimmer.
I had been using one for about 2 months before I connected it to my Reef Angel controller. You can find them on EBay.

I ordered one for my 20 long as well. Do you have a link to the one you purchased? Would like to avoid any trial and error if possible and could order it now so when the pump comes in I'm good to go. Thanks

When I set up this group buy, I already given an estimated delivery period and have warned everybody that it will take a long time. Not only because the shipping takes time but also the factory is back ordered on their production line.

It is VERY ANNOYING that people keep asking me the delivery date without reading all my notes all my posts and not even the receipt that I sent out.

From now on, I will refund anybody who inquire about delivery time before June 20th and remove him/her from group buy.

UPDATE, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Good News: The final price, including shipping, tarrifs all BS is $52.5 (final price may be off by cents). If I ended up with extra few bucks, I will donate it to FRAG.

Bad News:
The lead time will be long for this group buy because they only manufacture after receive payment.
I first need collect payment. (By May 13th), wire them the same day (2-3 business days)
Production (5-7 days), Shipping (up to 30 days by sea). So you are looking to get them in your hand around mid June. (Around my birthday, yeah!)

I set up the close date of this group buy to May 13th, 2013. I have listed all payment methods in the shared file. People, start to send me money!!!! (Yeah!)

Its not that I am mean to somebody, but this is just the beginning of the waiting and I already got 7 inquiries!

Caralreefdoc, make sure you typed the correct email address in Paypal. I've made that mistake twice and I was able to catch the 1st one but the 2nd time that person withdrew the money so I was out some dollars. Oh well, lessen learned for me.

Here is a video of 1 WP25 in my 55 gallon.

I think it is still to strong, so I hooked it up to my Reef Angel and left the speed at a 35-50% ramp I set up for my WP40.
It's a little to low now so I'll probably boost it up to 45-70%.
