I work for a large international law firm. To confirm what Macboat said the lawsuit has to go to court and tunze or whoever would have to win. A cease and disit is a scare tactic used. This happens everyday in the USA with big US corps and other country that make equal products for cheap. Assuming the order ship in 2 weeks or so they won't even be in court. I will check to see if there is even a lawsuit in place when I get to work tomorrow.

Wow thanks for the update.

Simon, the big shipment is comming on ship to keep costs down as air was alot more.

Correct me if im wrong mac

I believe, from what I have gleaned thru reading the thread, that is the case. However, the statement of one month voyage time, via sea from China, isn't very accurate ...

How is it not accurate? Have you ever ordered anything from China on the slow boat? I have, and it can take 2, 3, 4 weeks or longer.

After doing my research there is no lawsuit. So there is nothing to worry about. Even if one got filed today. It would take at minimum 2-3 months before jebao would even get the summons. 90% of the time in cases like this there is no suit and it goes to arbitaration which can take significantly longer.

:bounce3:mine finally came:bounce3:

one is in a vinegar/water bath right now to clean off the oils, but I have to say from the feel of them they don't really feel like a cheap pump.

one thing I wish they would do though is put something in between the magnets to make them easier to seperate, they are strong lol.

I was also messing with the night sensor and I was able to get it to work in complete darkness, maybe they used new sensors?

I also had problems separating the magnets. Almost lost a nail, lol. I'm setting up the new tank today (leak tested all yesterday) so I'll be able to get the pump wet tonight

While I have no experience with the top notch brands, these certainly didn't seem that poorly made at all.

Ha. Agreed.

This is one area I really need to investigate a bit more. I wouldn't be using this off my tank lights (MH on a FOWLR, I don't run them that may hours a day) but rather ambient lighting.

Ok for just a fast rewiew so far. forgive the pics and video as I couldn't find the charger to the good camera.

pics that most have already seen.

pump close up

controller closeup

here it is next to a tunze 6000 for size. I had 2 of these in my tank

here are a couple quick video's of just one in my 75 gal tank. please forgive the bubble algae, the emerald crabs are not doing their job fast enough.

here you can see how much 1 pump gives a wave. this is on setting w1

here is basically a close up of the anemones on the other end of the tank.

I have to admit, for just one pump these things pack a huge punch.

I am still not sure about the night mode sensor though, where I have the controller at it works just fine, but if a cloud comes over the house just to dim the sunlight from entering just a little bit it will go into night mode. it is very touchy and that is one thing I will work on.

I haven't had alot of time yet to mess with most of the modes but will do that later. for now on W1 the frogspawn has closed up about half of it's usual size, I am sure it is not used to all the new flow. but the anemones seem to love it :D

My Anemones, Toadstool Leather, Frogspawn, and Kenya tree all hated it.
I wound up taking the 25's out of the tank and putting the 40 in controlled with the Reef Angel.

I tried the 25 at the same settings as I had the 40 at and it didn't behave right. When I set the 25 to run at 30% during the night it would run for a bit and then stop. This never happened with the 40.

The 25's run perfectly fine with the stock controller, never stopped or anything, but they were to strong for my 55.

I can get better control and positioning with the 40 then the 25's

I'm going to wind up selling the 25's.

BTW can you see my video's?

Thank you sir and yes I was able to check you tank out. Very nice I want to try anemones again but had a bad experience with 1 in the beginning. Carlos had a beautiful RBTA I almost picked up on Wednesday, I'm still thinking about headed back this weekend for it.
