The cables are short, but the cable from the pump that connects to this cable is pretty long as is the power supply cord.

I thought the same thing when I went to hook mine up, but it worked out fine.

New controller with speed built in:

I didn't think you could hook this to the apex controller

Yes, absolutely you can. This cord just does all the math and electronic parts to adjust the signal from Apex or Reef Angel so the pump runs correctly off them. I saw a post recently that someone had these jebao working off a ReefKeeper..

Geeman shed some light! Are these new speed control pumps being bundled with WP40s coming from the factory, WP25s, or is it a fish street exclusive?

As of now the new speed controllers are coming with the WP25, I would think they will start supplying them with the WP40's as well but haven't heard any talk of that.

I think you will see them with the 40's as the existing supply runs out and the newer ones get out in the market.

This is not an add on, this is the new controller for the pumps and was not ready for the first release of the pumps.

Now I'm kind of bummed I got an early WP25! lol. If anyone who gets the new controller decides they want to run full blast, I'll happily trade with a couple bucks for the speed dial. I'd rather do that then use a variable output ac adapter.

Someone has it "working" an a ReefKeeper, meaning the AC outlet is turning power on/off to them. They are not controlling the speed with a RK AFAIK.

Both our WP25 and WP40s will come with new controller, but that will delay the delivery date for about 2 weeks. :sad1: I will keep everybody posted.
