Jebao WP25 Information

:bounce3::bounce3::bounce3::bounce3::bounce3:

That is great news, thanks macbot.

now, what the heck are you still doing on the PC. get back to relaxing and prepare for supper, or dinner or what ever you guys call it over there:lol:

I sent you two why not give him one as Daddy's day gift? Or even better, sell one to him for fish-street price...:artist:

The light sensor has always been a pain from a lot of WP40 threads. I wouldn't rely on it. Fish-street has some better light sensors for $1 maybe we should start another gb...:spin1:

yeah, I am actually thinking about putting the 2nd one in my tank now and running them both on else mode, my corals do not seem to care for the W1 mode. The else mode on the other hand they love, just not sure if i am getting enought flow with one.

as for selling him 1 for FS price, he says his goldfish isn't worth a $100 pump

I figure if this light sensor don't work or burns up, I have plenty of others to choose from with my arduino stuff.

A few pictures. That's a WP40 behind it.

mac, thanks for the updates and thanks for putting in the countless hours to setup this insane group buy. especially considering you are not gaining anything other than a good deal on a pump by doing this. have a good holiday.

rrasco, nice pictures of side by side comparison of WP25 and WP40.

Here is a short video of WP25 in ELSE mode in my 92g corner tank. This shows the water flow before and after how much water one single WP25 can move in such a tank.

This compares to the W1 mode that I posted earlier

here are a couple more video's of the pumps.

here it is with 1 pump in else mode.

2 pumps straight accross from each other in else mode

great video's simon.

I really wish I could find my charger, my video's as so blue and that is not the way they really look.

i'm sill messing around with pump placement, modes and such also.

So I am going to be getting the WP25 and putting it on a biocube 29. Will I need to hook it up to a dimmer (or something) in order to choke it down? I know I won't need 100%, but can the pump adjust its power?

With the new controllers you should be able to control the power of the flow without the dimmer. However no one has seen the new controller yet so it is all a guess still

Alright. I got mine from a store on ebay, so I'll be getting it in a week or so. If I can't tune it down on the controller, I'll have to figure something out. I think the 25 is overkill for a 29 at 100%. The dial is just to control the different settings?

Use a DC 5V-24V 4A 48W LED Light Dimmer .
You can find then on E-Bay for about $5.

Thank you Mac
:D :D glad our shipment is coming with this new controller I'm can't wait taking to long haha that ship needs warp drive :uzi: hehe just to excited from the pictures you guys are posting its looks like a very pretty pump :bounce1:

The eBay one probably will come with the old controller since they only announced the new controller on the 25th so might have to buy a LED dimmer.

Mine is not a video camera just my iPhone 4S. It does a good job in picking up the true color and HD images.

I found myself pretty much using ELSE and W1 modes primarily and rarely using the other modes. The corner tank is difficult to direct flow so I just point mine to the center and parallel to the water surface. If I point it up the flow at the bottom of the tank diminishes significantly. The WP25, in my opinion after running it in my 92g tank for 3 days, is still too much for any tank 75g or less without some way to dial it back. I too am looking forward to the new controller.

Not that I've seen. I haven't even seen an attempt at it.
You would need to splice another waterproof connection into the existing one and that should work ok.

I don't know if there would be a problem with the control voltage being split among 2 pumps
