That seems to be the question everyday (or a variation of it).
I don't think so, but it depends on what you have in the tank, If you have a lot of rock work , blocking and breaking up the flow or if it is a minimalistic tank with a lot of open space.
Also what mode you are going to run them in.
If they are going to be in sync or not.
I have a lot of rock work in my tank, so the flow gets broken up and bounced around by the rock.
I have a WP-40 and a WP-25 running at about 50% speed in Anti-sync.
Then you don't have to worry about kicking up sand, do you?
You're going to need a dimmer unless you plan to point it at a rock or you'll have to run the only wave mode that allows speed control.
i have a 4 months old Wp25 and recently bought a new wp 25. turns out the power lost is quite alot. probably 25-40% power lost.

Have you cleaned the older WP-25 lately?
What do you mean by power lost? As in the new controller you can dial down the power 25-40% lower? Or that over 4 months the wp25 has lost a lot of its power?

Weird, first time I heard of power loss even after cleaning. Did you brush the inside of where the magnet goes in and the magnet itself?
Everytime I clean, I have to turn everything down or it's a sandstorm.
