Jebao WP25 Information

Have you tried pulling the power for about 2 min?
This is a WP-25 so it has the walwart power plug not the laptop kind that cam on the WP-40 correct?

I need to cover my WP25 with something if my nem doesn't stop roaming. I thought I read somewhere one of the vortech covers will fit it, anyone know which size fits?

Stupid question, did water splash the controller? I would unplug it, ser it out to dry wait a day and plug it back up, see if power cycling it does anything

Hey I don't know about you, but pantyhose can be very appealing to the eye. :)

Anyone know if pantyhose will reduce some flow? Or is there something else I can cover it will that will reduce a little?

Do you want to reduce the flow?

I would think that because of the fine holes in pantyhose that it will reduce the flow a bit and it will probably gradually reduce it more as the pantyhose get clogged with debris or algae.

I plan on doing this.

So I really wanted an anemone, and after some research I decided to get a GBTA. Picked one up from H20 exclusives, took him home, drip acclimated. etc.

Shut off my power heads for an hour, and let him attach himself to the rock. after an hour i turned them back on, under the assumption that he had attached himself, and had not moved in 30 minutes time. Observed for 10 minutes or so his reaction to the change in environment (no the powerheads weren't pointed right at him. Started vacuuming the house (i know super macho eh?) came back 20 minutes later and he was no longer on the rock, looked around the tank, and found him halfway in, and halfway out of my koralia 4 power head, nice right? Lucky It didnt look like any of it actually came into contact with the blades, just heavily bloated. Like when u pinch a water balloon in the center and squeeze the water from one side to the other.

Shut the power head off immediately. Tried to gently push him back through the slit, but he wouldn't budge. Took some nips and cut one of the slits of my power head to widen the opening so he could easily slip out, as removal otherwise was outside of the question.

Left the power heads off overnight went to micheals today and here is where we are today.

Picked up some (nedlepoint?) backing used for crafts. called a 7 mesh? as well as one in an egg form. The egg form one fits right over my koralia 3. nice eh? (with slight modifications)

The good news is the anemone seems to be recovering. He's hunkered down in an undesirable location but in time i hope he moves to a more visable location as there is much more flow present in the tank.

I know this may be old school stuff for a lot of you, but for me it was an interesting experience, and unsettling to say the least. It seams no matter how much u research something, and how many opinions you seek, life has its way of whipping up a new surprise.

Unplugged it for 5 hours and as soon as I plugged it back in it started blinking again. I don't know what do do...very frustrating!:deadhorse:

I never put the sensor in when it initially occurred, but I've exhausted every option I could think of! I'll just contact fish-street.
