I have 2 WP40. One quit after about 14 or 15 months. The other one still works. Not near as strong as when it was new regardless of how clean it is.
I figure I got about what I paid for.
Frank were the magnets intact?
This is from a koralia 1050. Less than a year old.
Same thing happened to 3 Taam Rio pumps I had.
It's some sort of plastic infused magnet. Absolute crap.

started doing a little research and apparently some of the early pumps had this problem, just stopped working 14 to 18 months later. While my pumps are still going I'm going to start shopping for new motor blocks just to see how much as the average seems to be $40 so far which pales in comparison to how much I've spent on other pump parts.
Larry what happened to the one that died pump, power or controller issue?
