I just wanted to share some pics of my recent tank upgrade. This tank has been running for just over a month.

Nothing's special about this tank - just something to share with everyone. :)

Tank: TruVu 60g (48"x15"x18")
Lighting: Hamilton 4 X 54w T5 retro with (2) Actinics and (2) 10K bulbs
Refugium Lighting: Hamilton fixture with 2 X 32w 10K bulbs
Skimmer: Octopus Recirc 110
Return Pump: Rio 1400
Heater: Jager 200w set at 79 degrees
Powerhead: (2) Koralia #4
Misc: Walmart canopy fan, DIY Durso pipe, DIY fuge/sump

Here are the pics:

I used my old 20g for the fuge...

and made a removable screen for it.

My DIY Durso pipe.

I used some of those 'puzzle' foam mats in between tank and stand instead of styrofoam. I also used these as lining inside the stand.

Here's what the sump looks like with everything installed.

My holding tank while I was working on the new one.

I also would like to thank Minh for giving me most of the rocks that I used for this tank. Thank you so much, Minh! :)

I'll update with some macro pics when the lens arrive.

Anyhow, thanks for looking! :)

Nice work! And excellent shot, very good representation of all the corals' colors. Did the tang make the transition?

Thanks! :)

The Yellow Tang did make it. It must have been hiding when I took the shot.

Thanks!:)

The 'white' on the bottom of the tank is just the protective paper layer the acrylic came with.

The removable screen is made from gutter screen that I got from OSH for about $1.50.

Those lighter colored rocks were uncured when I placed them in the tank. Not a good idea but I think I can pull this one off. So far so good.
