Time for an update. I am a little behind on updating.
Saturday (5/11) I stopped by a LFS and picked up 2 ocellaris clowns and a white tip torch. Figured it was time to give an LPS a shot and see what happens.
Then on Sunday I picked up a RBTA from another member and the quality blew me away.
Placed it on top of the rock but within a few mins it had moved down the side to the right. Been there overnight and still hasn't moved. Guess it is happy there.
The torch and the RBTA have opened up already so the water, light, ect must be right. The clownfish were being pushed all around the tank and has me wondering if I have too much flow in the tank. Is that possible? The return pump is around 150gph and then I have two powerheads that do 1150gph. That would put it around 50x the DT. I turned one of the powerheads off this morning and the clowns seem to be a lot happier.
