Yeah, I'm still waiting for that Sohal to go in. One of my all-time favorite fish!

And oh, BTW, SSB here with ~100x turnover :D
 
The wrasses are all sleeping in holes in my live rock. They seem to be okay with it :)

Personally, I prefer the look of sand. SSB's are cool. Not a big fan of display DSB's though. I'm definitely not biased one way or the other. Go with what works best for you :)

I agree that the sohal goes in today :) Right when I get home from work :D
 
I have always wanted a sohal. Now that I am rethinking my stocking list, I was debating between another Blonde Naso or small sohal. That way I would still be able to add another larger tang if I can find the one I am looking for.
What do think Jim?

I'm biased though. Like Terry, the Sohal is one of my favorite tangs (only #2 behind the achilles).

I only want 2 tangs though. I am also rethinking a bit, and might add a m-foxface as I have always wanted one. Not sure though....
 
Achilles is also on the top of my list :) Mark, are you sure you have room for a tang with your mad coral growing skills?

I have seen your monster, that thing wanted to bite me just looking at it.

I had a blonde naso (Howie), but it got too big to fast and I traded it to Tim.

I am still tempted to do an achilles as I still have no tangs in my display. The fish look a lot better, but I told myself at least until May 1st when I pulled out the PBT two weeks ago.

I am really happy with my magnificent foxface. It is a cool fish. I have also been eyeing a gold or orange spotted rabbitfish.

Let me know if you want to come by to pick up some zoas so you can say you have an official reef tank :lol:

Yeah, my Sohal is a monster now!! It has grown so fast!!! It is the only fish that I will name. I'm thinking "Moby Dick" :lol: Either that or Lucifer :eek2: j/k

I want an achilles too, but I don't want to deal with the ich anymore. My sohal seems pretty resistant to it as does my PT, so I'm sticking to what I got ;)
 
Naso's are cool. Don't get me wrong.

I just like the sohals a lot.

John had a killer orange shoulder in for quite some time. That was a great looking fish too :D
 
Yep OST is definitely on my list, I have a list of seven tangs. I am just trying to decide which ones will interact better with each other and allow for me to add my dream fish if I ever find one :sad2:

I have three polyp frags with you name on them Jim :lol:
 
Mark, I was thinking of waiting for at least a week or two before I add stuff. You really think its okay?
 
Yeah, just ph and ammonia for now. PH was a little high at first, but leveled out before I added the fish. I need to go up and buy all elos kits though. Ca, mg, alk etc.

I plan to be pretty selective as to what I add. I want a very open aquascape like invincible's tank.

I know, I know. I'm gonna get hooked on the sticks and chock my tank full. Well, maybe. But right now the plan is to keep it open. We'll see :p
 
Don't worry about MG right away. I'd just by KH and CA for now. You can still use API for nitrates as nitrates really don't matter.

Tyree at the meeting said that is all he tests for is ALK.

I'm kinda the same i'll test alk, calc and every once in awhile mag and thats it
 
I don't even test for CA but once every 6 weeks or so. If alk is stable and they are balanced in SW, then I am good. I do check MG every 7-10 days as my tank consumes mg very fast. KH, I test daily, sometimes twice daily. As long as I am in range of my previous test, I'm good.

you working friday afternoon? Going to EG to get a few sticks. Cant wait one of the tanks i have been anxious to see, I will finally get to check out!

Was going to Hit Exotic after and maybe JoJo's for the first time
