Jim what fans are you using in the canopy? Also what's the count/locations for all the fans (and future fans you ordered).

Skip the gas shocks and go for the electric ram openers! The electric ram thing-a-magiggie will impress the lady! Then it won't matter which skimmer you employ even with the sickest smellin nog, cause she'll be playing with that auto opener button on the canopy!

Right now I'm running 2 fans on the sides which draw air in, then I will add two more fans on the top that will suck air out.

I will look into the electric ram openers as well

Any thought on what chiller you will purchase? For what its worth, get an in line over a drop in.

Actually, I've been looking at the aqua logic drop-ins. If I go inline, I have to buy a bigger pump, then reconfigure my plumbing scheme. Just something I don't want to do. It won't look clean and I hate the idea of plumbing anything outside of my stand. I know it is more efficient to run it inline, but not as practical.

The portion of my sump that I plan to place the drop-in portion of the chiller in is pretty small. I figure it will get good contact time and look nice and clean. Hopefully it works out. I don't expect the chiller to work very hard, as I have had a tank in sac since 01' , and have never run a chiller. We keep our house pretty cool in the summer

Do you have any recommendations on a chiller? What model do you run?
