Well, first off all the fittings are metric, so it will be a real pain. The second thing is that my new pump will be here in about a month, so I'd hate to do anything I can't "undo".

I had thought about it though. This is how BK does their externals as well. I think it makes for easy removal and well as dampening the sound.

I know that kip has the link to get a metric to standard conversion union. He used it on his and I believe Sanjay used one as well.

You can do a search or PM kip. If not, I can get it for you. I know the eheim is only short term. I was thinking ahead; you know me, I am always think ahead :)

:)

For sure. If you can find that link, that would be awesome!!!

I need to get a metric to standard union on the exhaust :D

:lmao:

Just wait until these med airstars hit the US :p

No doubt, Jim. ATB owners, unite!!!:D

I don't know. If my BK 200 had been an external, I'm not sure it would've gotten delivered, and Jim would be a member of the BK skimmer club.

Yeah talked to Jim yesterday and he was saying how nice that BK was. I would say for sure if that was an EXT he would have bought it.

Yeah, if Jeremy's BK was an external, I would have bought it. IMO they're just too expensive to buy them new. Very nice, but very expensive. Also its pretty much impossible to find a used ext BK.

I am very happy with the final product, and look forward to hooking it up to my tank :D

No kidding! That's why I now own an H&S.:(

I'm not really too sad, the H&S rocks.

Mark, actually this will only require me to glue 1 fitting :) The rest will be hose clamps until I get my metric-standard union :)

On my home from the HD run now. Stuck in traffic  Had to borrow Rafael's mitre saw too. Thanks Raf!!!
