Definately go with the dust mask - even one of the respirator types that costs a bit more. I work with fiberglass all week and that stuff is brutal. I am usually outside, so the fumes aren't so much a problem, but once sanding commences, it is a must. This is a really neat build - I have thought about doing something like this also. I may build the sump for my next build - I'm gaining confidence following this thread.

i purchased one of these respirators for doing the fiberglassing and its worth its weight in gold.... but i was told you have to keep them in a zip lock to make them last more than a couple days. the instructions say they last for 30 days or 40hours which ever comes first but with how strong this stuff is i am guessing less than half that time and thats with the zip lock bag!!

depending on the size these tanks can be extreamly easy...i have built several of these at smaller sizes and they dont even require the fiberglassing!

still planning the equipment but i know its going to have closed loops, MSX cone skimmers, macro refugium, duel sumps and overflows, and ATS

I am still building the tank....just been really swamped lately. Plus I have been putting a lot of time into my 210. Just ordered an apex for it today, and i have been fragging like crazy. I am on the prowl for a purple monster and true blue oregon tort.
I may do some work on the tank this weekend...
