you should take the sump to a glass shop and see if they can rework it for you-- or have them cut pieces to your specs and build your own (just dont forget to leak test it

BTW I had the exact same problem with my nearly-new JBJ arctica chiller. JBJ has mine right now; its getting inspected for repair or replacement!
