Judi Reef Tank - PT

Hi all,

sportzfish - Same problem here. Don't know the name. In fact I have other coral that I don't know the name... I'll post pictures later.

Thanks.

Hi all,

I'll post some update pictures. The pictures were taken underwater, by André.

In the past month I've experienced some bad luck in the tank. My 2 light fixtures went damaged. I've 2 days of complete blackout, and 2 weeks with 2 lamps blue 80w, and the other 2 lamps of 80w, lighted up with a 39w ballast.

Also, I've overdosed in the balling, and some corals loose tissue, and others retracted the polyps. To help in this, my Holocanthus Ciliaris started to nip in all SPS corals, and some of them never open, till date. I've managed to take out the Holocanthus but I left the 2 centropyge that I've. I'm thinking to get out the centropyge's has well, because they to nip in the corals.

Now I'm dosing CalxMax A+B, and I'm getting great results.
The lixt fixture is now the ATI Sunpower 6*80w ( I've more light now with 6*80w then the 8*80w that I've... )

So the photos.:

Wow, very impressive photos. Can you give details on the equipment used (i.e. camera body, lense, etc) to take this pictures? Also, was a tripod used when taking the pictures?

Great tank!!

Is it me or is anyone else confused about what the heck balling is. Whatever it is I don't wanna do it after u are losing tissue on your corals. Very nice tank

this is the beginnings of a beautiful tank. When those colonies get bigger and all those colors grow together... WOW. good job
