I have a pair of ocellaris clowns that have been together 2-3 years now. The female has started splashing the surface of the water about a month ago. She splashes all day and night the salt spray is covering the lights and the wall. The male doesn't do it , any ideas?

Definitely not typical behavior IME.
The only thing I can think of is I have had clowns react to their reflection , used to have a maroon that would attack my stainless dive watch.
Is it possible you have reflectors that could be giving a similar reaction?(this is a reach!lol)
Is it taking host from something high up?

Weird.
If it were me I think I'd try a host placed at bottom of tank, frogspawn or hammer if it is not in a nem.

I don't have video it happens infrequently, sometimes every 1/2 hour sometimes not for 3-4 hours. Usually I am watching tv and hear the loud splash, I have seen her do it a dozen times or so but it is just one and done

not this time of year and she hasn't done it for 2 days now, maybe she kicked the habit thanks for the input
