As it's my nature to not have any original ideas of my own, I was looking at your flow set up in the video again, as it pertains to a gyre.
Looks like your Tunze and Vortech are pretty high up near the surface with the penductors facing straight back at the pumps. Is something on an intermittent pulse? Either the pumps or the penductors? Just trying to figure out the water's overall movement.
overall gyre is counterclockwise (flow at the surface is heading towards overflows on upper left and along the bottom flow is going towards the open sandy area on bottom right).
I started filming the video with my MP40 at max- so outs from the penductors and flow from MP40 are colliding right around the break between the two rock stacks.
I took the video with my old point and shoot camera so it's not of the greatest quality. Someday I'll get a pro in here to do it right.
Stunning Gary!
Dave, the waffles reference was directed to me. On his original thread, Gary posted a full tank shot which included his kitchen table and his breakfast of....you guessed it, waffles!
I've been harrassing him ever since.
Had a frag of three polyps of the Armor of God paly's like yours....
Regal angel decided within 5 minutes she liked them. Wont touch the inexpensive, non attractive Zoa's....but something pretty in there, and she'll nibble on it.
