Thank you Loc01 for custom built the reactor for me. Very impressive piece of equipment. I like the way it run. By the way, thank you for taking your time helping me set up the Ca Reactor Loc.

No problem buddy, I am glad you like the way its performance.

Loc01 Your reactor suck. I can't keep my eyes of them since it look crazy. The pump too quiet, too much water run through my media, Ph stay at 8.3, 6.6 out of the effluent. Dude i ran out of word about this reactor. Kevin you should get one :). By the way, it is good to have the flow meter, Loc set them at 35ml per Min and it stay the same since yesterday. I even test it with the cup and it is at 35ml/m.

Reefer714, why don't you post the pix of it in action? We all love to see it in action if it is not too much of a hassle for you.

Hey Loc,

Out of curitosity. Where did you get all your supplies, especially the O ring.. BTW, nice reactor.

O-rings I get them from Ace Hard Ware, Mcfadden Dale and Heating &Plumbing(GardenGrove&Euclid), you can also buy them at swimming pools place.

Thanks for taking the time out to answer my question. I am not much of a DIY person but I am always interested in seeing people DIY project. Does Heating & Plumbing sell the flow meter as well? How much is the whole thing cost?

Have not seen any of the reactor with the flow meter. How does it works and where is the flow meter connect from and to?

any updated pics???

There will be update pictures soon but not ca reactor. The one I am doing now is Zeovit Reactor, one the will hold massive amount of media rocks.

Sohal11,

Some heating & plumbing places do sell the flowmeter but you have to look for the one with teflon or glass ball in the meter otherwise it's gonna be hard to run salt water thr. it. I got my flowmeter at Blue White Industries(model f-750ml/mt).

Well, most of the reactors will tend to have calcium build up and slow down the dripping(effluent) rate; With the flowmeter attached in line at the 2nd chamber out put, you will be able to set your effluent rate and check for clog in split of a second. Trust me on this cuz I used to sit in front of my ca reactor with a small cup and a watch what a pain in the ****.
