He's been eating everything (mysis, roe, cyclops, pellets and even flake) since pretty much day one. A wild caught male. His first dorsal has recently been nipped if you look closely. I suspect my toby. Anyway, this pic just shows his lovely colors and I thought y'all might enjoy. Cheers.
Very nice fish lucky getting a non fussy one I am looking forward to getting set up in march then maybe after a year I will be looking into getting one
I love these fish, Mine lived for about 6 months before I lost him. Not sure if I want to try another one, but absolutely one of the most beautiful fish!
I love mine!! I've had him in my 90 for about 10 months now and he looks awesome! I don't think he touches the brine or mysis, but eats well off the population of pods in the tank (which I never add too).
Thanks for the male female info, I've had one in my 155 now for a month but it seems super shy I see it about everyday if I look for it. Now I'm anxious to see if it a male or female!
