I added a goldflake angelfish to my tank, and it is looking wonderful. Actively exploring the tank, picking at the live rock, and completely ignoring/ignored by the other fish in the tank.

It is a stunning fish.

I know, it will happen tonight (I hope). I stink at taking pictures.

Mine is the boss of the tank. Eats out of my hand, lets me stroke him etc. He has enjoyed eating zoas and has an occasional nip on my millies (without causing damage). They are an awesome showpiece fish - my favourite. Good luck with yours Brian.

I hope you treated him for internal worms as they are notorious for having them. Prazipro works really well. Tim

I got one direct from HI last week. It was in QT and was being treated for fluke with Prazi. Well, needless to say, i no longer have a goldflake. Apparently the fish had severe fluke infestation. I found in completely bloated. I took it out and did a FW dip before I disposed of it, and lo and behold flukes were oozing from the skin and gills. I am not happy, fluke sucks.

Thats a real shame :(

Brian, you are going to love him/her. They are great fish. Stunning colors and they never stop moving!

Jason that is the norm for goldflakes unfortunately. Sorry for your lose. A freshwater dip or a formalin two bath is a great idea. Tim

Mine hasn't touched my zoas to this point. He eats all prepared foods I have added to the tank, and has been ignored by the other inhabitants.

Oh, did I mention I added a dwarf golden angel as well?

Not a chance of getting a picture of the golden angel. He hides behind the rockwork and I only get glimpses of him. They are very shy fish, and it may be months before I see him with any regularity.
