Beautiful shots Kien. May I ask what lens you had use to shoot these?
Can you let me know when you are going to be out of town? Also where you hide your spare key. I am colorblind, so forgive me if the colors are incorrect, but the two pictures of the SPS, one is green with blue polyps, the other is blue with green polyps, those are the best looking SPS I have seen. What are they? Expensive?
Very nice pictures! Keep them coming![]()
Do you have a topic of your tank?
Never mind the corals your picture taking abilities are insane. I'm always curious to know what people are shooting with. This might too much to ask but do you happen to have the settings of some of your shots like shutter speed iso lens type aperture etc
Ok so far I have an SLR and a macro lens but my pics are not as good as yours. What type of viewing box do you have homemade or store bought if so what brand. Thanks still learning
Amazing collection of corals and photos, really nicely done all around! I'm guessing a good portion of these are with the 5DII, the image quality is tremendous - I'd expect the 40D to come in second in this department. You better start watermarking these badboys, otherwise they are going to start popping up elsewhere minus any photo credits.
I think us Canucks are vying for world reefing supremacy... ironic given we don't have any tropical locales... maybe that is what motivates us!
When you shoot your top down shots using the viewing box do you place the lens directly on the glass/acrylic of the viewing box or just aim looking down thru the box without any contact
Amazing! How did I miss this thread LOL! :lolspin:
Superb photography. Beautiful SPS corals. The FTS shot shows off a gorgeous reef tank with beautiful scape. Tank of the Month for sure!
Can I ask what are your typical nitrate and phosphate levels? And apart from Ca, Alk and Mg; do you dose anything else like Amino Acids etc?
Many thanks.
