Just bought 2x 6205, 1 loud 1 silent - suggestions?

Hello:

I have 2 6205 turbelles, the first one I put in my aquarium about 1 week ago and is COMPLETELY SILENT the second one arrived yesterday in the mail and I just dropped it in my tank, the second one is VERY LOUD.

Any suggestions? could it be that it needs to break in to become silent like the other one? (I dont remember the first one EVER being loud but room noise changes and I may have not noticed)

Did I get a faulty one?

Suggestions?

Make sure the front cover is on all the way, look at the gap around the edge, it should be even, usually a very loud pump, one tab is not clicked in.

If this is not it, the only cause can be the propeller assembly (drive unit 6205.700), this is the only moving part. I would switch them between the two pumps, if it follows the drive unit, we know it has a bent shaft or some problem and we can send a new one.
