Just dipped new corals in revive, rinsed and placed in tank. How long till they open?

OK, Korrine. See if this works.

whohooo. Yea, it just takes some time to play w/it and figure out stuff. you can crop and blowup and change colors, add text, stickers (i think). All kinds of things w/photobucket. I usually just crop and then blow up a bit and that's it. Well I have played w/photos of myself before. Color changes n stuff. Was interesting.

That's cool how he hosts the gsp :D

as far as covering it with a black bag "for sure" working.

I would disagree and say it is tougher than that. I suppose if you covered it long enough with the black bag it would eventually work, but do you really want to look at a garbage bag in yoru tank for months??

. I have taken a blow torch to the stuff and had it return 8 or 9 months later. Im not joking. I must not have cooked some of the stuff down in the cracks quite well enough. I scraped off what I could and torched the scraps. the second torching worked but your best bet is to scrape the rock out from underneath every bit of it if you truly want it erradicated.

What I actually was saying that starving it from light and flow will for sure work, not a garbage bag specifically, but I did forget to mention it would take a while though.

OK, well I have had enough for awhile. I got most off one rock and a lot off the other 3 rocks. I have the black plastic covering what is left for now and will leave it as long as I can stand it. Maybe then it will be easier to scrap off what is left. Will update with how it goes.

Thanks all for the help and thanks Korrine for the photobucket thing.

Hey, not trying to hijack but I think I made a big mistake with GSP. I wish I had seen this thread b4 I put some in. I actually put it on the sand to begin with cause I thought it looked like grass but my wife wanted me to put it on the rocks. So we all know where it is now!

Do u guys think I could control its growth with aggressive corals or kalk paste or something like that?

Thanks, and I only ask here cause it is on subject.

i really like the way gsp looks, but mine just won't grow haha. i have a little frag probably 2x3 inches on a small rock. its been there since february. it opens every day, sways a bit in the flow, but it doesn't move at all. i'm not even sure it has attached all the way to the rock. everything else in my tank has shown some growth/development, but this haha.

Do any of you feed your zoo's? I got a free sample of coral frenzy. Since I have a few feather dusters on my new live rock, I was considering using some. Would my zoa's benefit too?
